Maternity Session {The Long Family}

Kristen and I have known each other since middle school. We attend the same church and are in a life group together. Our first born sons are just a few months apart, so the first year of their lives, we were constantly checking in with each other - about "all the things" pertaining to new mothers and new babies!

A few weeks ago I found myself in a childcare pinch, and my VERY SWEET, VERY PREGNANT, mother of a toddler graciously stepped in to help out for a few days. We agreed to trade childcare for a maternity photo session and I think it was a win-win! I Iove trading services :)

The weather was beautiful for our session and little Emmitt enjoyed being the center of his mommy and daddy's world - at least for a little bit longer. ESPECIALLY if that means getting one of my close friends in front of my camera! This awesome family just welcomed their new little one to the family a few days ago!!! It was such a joy to capture her growing family!!! P.S. Doesn't Kristen look RADIANT in this purple dress?
